FAQ

Legal & Professional Credentials

Can I book a session with Fedora from anywhere?

Yes. Fedora offers her services remotely and internationally, and you can book an appointment from any country using GenderGP’s scheduling platform HERE.

The booking process is simple and accessible, regardless of where you live, making it a convenient option for people across regions and time zones.

Are you legally authorised to provide assessments and referral letters internationally?

Yes. The Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology (CFP) is one of the largest and most progressive regulatory bodies in the world, with a long-standing commitment to advocating for transgender and gender-diverse rights and access to healthcare.

As a licensed psychologist in Brazil, where she resides, Fedora is authorised by the CFP to provide psychological services remotely, including to clients outside Brazil. This authorisation includes formal diagnoses and surgery referral letters, which are legally valid internationally. You can verify her credentials by visiting the official CFP website and entering her full name.

Fedora is also a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), and her work aligns with international best practices in gender-affirming care. All documents are officially signed using a government-recognised digital signature system, ensuring authenticity and legal standing.

Who is responsible for your services and documents—GenderGP or you?

Fedora is fully and solely responsible for all clinical care, formal assessments, referral letters, and psychological documentation.

While the GenderGP platform is used only for scheduling purposes, she operates independently and is the legal and ethical provider of your care.

What about WPATH?

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) is the leading global association for transgender health. By participating in its ongoing courses, being a member, and engaging with this community, Fedora stays updated with the highest global standards for transgender care. You can verify her membership HERE.

Booking, Fees & Session Process

How do I book a session? Do I need a GenderGP membership?

You can book a session with Fedora here.

There are no additional fees beyond the standard session cost, and you do not need to be a member of GenderGP to schedule with her.

I have general questions and/or would like to talk to Fedora about my journey so far, future goals, or personal matters. Which session should I book?

The “Chat with Fedora” session is designed as a general, open-ended space to discuss any topics related to your journey. Clients are welcome to use this time for reflection, questions, or planning next steps. Fedora will tailor the conversation to your needs.

What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?

GenderGP’s system allows free cancellations or rescheduling up to 48 hours before the session. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable, and rescheduling may not be available.

What can I expect during a session?

When you book a session with Fedora, she will carefully assess your needs and help determine the most appropriate course of action.

If a diagnosis or referral letter is required, she typically provides it via email within 24 hours. Clients also have direct contact with her to clarify any aspects of the letter or process.

Referrals & Documentation

Do you support nonbinary people seeking gender-affirming care, including top surgery without GAHT?

Absolutely. She works with people of all gender identities, including nonbinary individuals.

You do not need to be on gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) to receive a referral for top surgery. If you understand that this procedure is the right step to support your wellbeing, she is here to support you fully and respectfully.

What kind of documents do you provide?

Fedora issues:

  • Letters of diagnosis (e.g. gender incongruence, body dysmorphia);

  • Referral letters for gender-affirming surgeries, GAHT, which also include the formal diagnosis of gender incongruence, if applicable.

All documents are:

  • Written in clear, professional English;

  • Digitally signed using an official Brazilian signature tool (ICP-Brasil);

  • Delivered via email within 24 hours after the session.

Use of Letters & International Acceptance

Are your referral letters accepted by clinics and legal systems internationally?

Yes. She is a licensed psychologist in Brazil, with the legal authority to provide psychological care and documentation internationally. Her credentials are fully verifiable, and all documents are digitally signed using official Brazilian signature tools.

Holding one of her referral letters typically facilitates access to private services, including gender-affirming surgeries and psychological care. As transgender healthcare continues to evolve worldwide, the work of qualified professionals across different countries plays a key role in expanding access and recognition.

That said, private clinics and service providers may have their own internal protocols. While her letters are generally well received, Fedora encourages clients to confirm acceptance with their chosen clinic or provider in advance.
